This notice is a clarification to RFA-RM-06-008, “Interdisciplinary Research Consortium (U54) which was released in the NIH Guide for Grants and Contracts on January 20, 2006 (http://grants.nih.gov/grants/guide/rfa-files/RFA-RM-06-008.html ). In the Research Objectives section, the RFA states “All of the linked applications that are part of the consortium will be evaluated by the same special emphasis panel.  That panel will score each component of the application as well as the entire application.”  These sentences should be replaced by “All of the linked applications that are part of the consortium will be evaluated by the same special emphasis panel.  That panel will evaluate each component of the application and will assign a single score to the entire application.”
