The purpose of this notice is to announce a technical assistance workshop for RFA RM-04-017, Molecular Libraries Screening Centers Network (MLSCN). Date: June 2, 2004, 9 AM to 1 PM, in the Natcher Building, Balcony B, 45 Center Drive, Bethesda, MD 20892 Host: MLSCN Project Team Leader/Molecular Libraries and Imaging Roadmap Implementation Group (http://nihroadmap.nih.gov/molecularlibraries/members.asp) Description: NIH staff will conduct a technical assistance and information-sharing workshop on June 2, 2004, 9 AM to 1 PM, in the Natcher Building, Balcony B, 45 Center Drive, Bethesda, MD 20892. The workshop will allow potential applicants to discuss and clarify any issues or questions related to RFA RM-04-017. The NIH is also seeking public comments regarding the potential use of a deviation to the standard patent rights clause to limit the rights of MLSCN center investigators to retain title to certain subject inventions involving the use of proprietary compounds in order to access and assemble the largest collection of compounds possible for this project. The proposed deviated clause would provide title or exclusive rights to the provider of the proprietary compounds (for further information, refer to http://grants.nih.gov/grants/guide/rfa-files/RFA-RM-04-017.html.
