CORRECTION TO RFA-RM-04-011: DYNAMIC ASSESSMENT OF PATIENT-REPORTED CHRONIC
DISEASE OUTCOMES

RELEASE DATE: December 22, 2003

NOTICE: NOT-RM-04-002

National Institutes of Health (NIH)

The purpose of this notice is to announce a correction to RFA-RM-04-011
(http://grants.nih.gov/grants/guide/rfa-files/RFA-RM-04-011.html).

The paragraph entitled," Statistical Coordinating Center," under the subsection,
"Organization of PROMIS," under the section of the RFA entitled, "RESEARCH
OBJECTIVES," incorrectly contains the following language:

In addition, SCC applicants may propose up to two separate research
plans for complementary research projects entailing data collection
techniques, advances in psychometric or statistical methodology or
measurement, or other topics related to this RFA.

Applicants for the Statistical Coordinating Center should NOT submit separate
research plans for complementary research projects. SCC applications should
focus on the SCC's role within the PROMIS network and should be structured as
indicated in the RFA under "SUPPLEMENTARY INSTRUCTIONS."

All other aspects of the RFA remain unchanged.
