Purpose

The All of Us Research Program, part of the National Institutes of Health, seeks applications for operating the Participant Technology Systems Center (PTSC) as part of the All of Us Research Program, a historic effort to gather data from one million or more people living in the United States to accelerate research and improve health.

The PTSC serves as the All of Us Research Program’s resource for developing and maintaining the technical platforms by which people participate in and engage with the program. The PTSC provides systems, services, user experience design, and development to support account creation and management, informed consent, survey data collection, participant-authorized data sharing from third-party data sources (e.g., consumer apps and devices), return of information (e.g., electronic health records) to participants, and multi-channel participant communications systems and workflows (e.g., email, SMS, direct mail, phone).

Funding opportunity and mechanism

The funding announcement solicits applications under the Other Transaction award funding mechanism. Applications will be considered from U.S. academic or private institutions or consortia.
