Purpose

This Notice updates PAR-11-022, Centers for Agricultural Disease and Injury Research, Education, and Prevention (U54) with the following changes to Key Dates.

December 4, 2012 Due Date no longer available

The December 4, 2012 due date is no longer available. A sufficient number of high-quality center applications were received in FY2011 to allow NIOSH to award nine meritorious center applications. NIOSH committed all FY2011 and FY2012 program funds to support a broad-based extramural program consisting of nine centers.

No additional funds are expected to be available for new, resubmission, or renewal Ag Center applications under PAR-11-022 in FY2013. Consequently, NIOSH is announcing that Ag Center applications will not be accepted for the December 4, 2012 receipt date. Any Ag Center applications submitted for this receipt date will not be reviewed.

Extension of Expiration Date and Addition of Due Date

An additional receipt date of December 2, 2013 has been added to this announcement.
As of the posting date of this Notice, PAR-11-022 is extended until December 3, 2013.

All other aspects of PAR-11-022 remain unchanged.
