In this virtual event, participants will learn about the two NIH R15 programs:

  • Academic Research Enhancement Award (AREA) for Undergraduate-Focused Institutions
  • Research Enhancement Award Program (REAP) for Health Professional Schools and Graduate Schools

These grants are designed to provide support for meritorious research at domestic institutions that have not been major recipients of NIH support, to strengthen the research environment at these institutions, and to give students an opportunity to gain significant biomedical research experience. Webinar participants will gain insights into the application process and the review criteria with an opportunity to participate in a live Q&A with a panel of NIH experts.

During this live event, participants will gain insight into:

  • Eligibility details for both AREA and REAP R15 programs
