Purpose

This Notice is to inform prospective applicants about the pre-application webinar and availability of Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs) for the Multi-Sectoral Preventive Interventions (MSPI) Research Network funding opportunities: 

• PAR-24-053, Multi-sectoral preventive interventions that address social determinants of health in populations that experience health disparities (UG3/UH3, Clinical Trial Required)
• RFA-OD-24-006, Coordinating Center to Support Multi-Sectoral Preventive Interventions that Address Social Determinants of Health in Populations that Experience Health Disparities (U24, Clinical Trial Not Allowed)

NIH staff will provide an overview of PAR-24-053 and RFA-OD-24-006, including objectives, application instructions, and review criteria, and they will answer questions from attendees.

Specific questions should be emailed to prevention@nih.gov at least 24 hours prior to the webinar. While an effort will be made to answer all questions during the webinar, it is possible that not all will be addressed during the event due to time constraints. 

All prospective applicants are invited to attend. Participation in this webinar is optional and is not a prerequisite to applying to the NOFOs. 

The webinar will be captioned in real time. Individuals needing reasonable accommodations should contact prevention@nih.gov at least five business days prior to the event. Prospective applicants who are unable to participate in the webinar are encouraged to view the video and slides. The slides and a captioned recording of the event will be available approximately two weeks after the webinar at: prevention.nih.gov/ResearchNetworkWebinar.
