Purpose

The purpose of this notice is to clarify that the Description of Candidate’s Contribution to Program Goals is the only requirement from the institution to certify eligibility for PA-23-271 "Ruth L. Kirschstein National Research Service Award (NRSA) Individual Predoctoral Fellowship to Promote Diversity in Health-Related Research (Parent F31-Diversity)". The Description of Candidate’s Contribution to Program Goals must be on institutional letterhead and scanned so that an institutional official signature is visible.

Additionally, this Notice of Funding Opportunity (NOFO) is corrected to remove the “Certification Letter” language in Section IV, changes to the NOFO are shown below.
