Purpose

The purpose of this notice is to remind applicants to NIH resource access programs (X01) of the award administration information specific to X01 which do not result in NIH grant funding nor a Notice of Award (NoA). Rather, selected applicants will receive access to resources described in the notices of funding opportunities (NOFOs).

This notice also informs applicants of a change to Section VI. Award Administration Information in all X01 NOFOs effective immediately to reflect that selected X01 applicants will not receive an NoA and are not subject to reporting requirements. IC-specific language may vary slightly depending on the purpose of the NOFO. Selected applicants will receive instructions as well as any requirements outlined within relevant data access, submission, or use agreements.

1. Award Notices

If the application is under consideration for funding, NIH will request "just-in-time" information from the applicant as described in the NIH Grants Policy Statement.

An X01 does not result in a Notice of Award (NoA). Rather, selected applicants will receive access to resources described in this NOFO. Successful applicants will receive instructions for next steps.
