Purpose

This Notice is to inform prospective applicants about the pre-application webinar for the Funding Opportunity Announcement (FOA) RFA-OD-22-004, “Tobacco Centers of Regulatory Science (TCORS) for Research Relevant to the Family Smoking Prevention and Tobacco Control Act (U54 Clinical Trial Optional)” and the availability of a Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ) document.

Webinar Information

Date: Monday, March 21, 2022

Time: 1:00 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. (Eastern Time)

NIH and FDA staff will provide an overview of RFA-OD-22-004, the application review process, and answer questions from prospective applicants. The webinar is open to all prospective applicants, and participation in the webinar is not a prerequisite to applying. All interested individuals are encouraged to register in advance to attend the webinar.

Addditional information about the webinar can be found at https://prevention.nih.gov/tobacco-regulatory-research/funding-opportunities/pre-application-webinar-tobacco-centers-regulatory-science-tcors. The webinar will be captioned in real-time. Individuals needing reasonable accommodations should contact TRSP@nih.gov. Requests should be made at least five business days before the event. After the webinar, webinar slides and a captioned copy of the event will be posted on the pre-application webinar site.

Prospective applicants are encouraged to submit questions regarding the FOA in advance of the webinar to TRSP@nih.gov by March 14, 2022, by 5:00 p.m. ET. While an effort will be made to include all questions in the webinar, presentations, or discussion, it is possible that not all will be addressed during the meeting due to time constraints.
