The National Institutes of Health (NIH) is encouraging research on the implementation of COVID-19 diagnostic testing in underserved and vulnerable communities through the Rapid Acceleration of Diagnostics-Underserved Populations (RADx-UP®) initiative. Projects to be supported through the funding opportunities referenced below in Phase III of the program will focus on community-engaged research to understand COVID-19 disparities and implement testing interventions to increase access and uptake of diagnostic methods.
NIH will hold one pre-application webinar covering two RADx-UP® funding opportunities:
The pre-application webinar, to be held on Tuesday, March 15th, from 1:00pm - 3:00pm EDT, will include an overview of the RADx-UP® initiative, followed by presentations on each funding opportunity (RFA-OD-22-005, RFA-OD-22-006). The webinar will conclude with a final, open question and answer session.
Questions can also be pre-submitted at [email protected] by 11:59 pm local time on Friday, March 11, 2022, for the March 15, 2022, webinar.
