Part. 2. Section I, Funding Opportunity Description

Network Structure

Current language
Interested researchers would contact the ISPCTN DCOC as a clearing house to determine feasibility and Network interest. Clinical trials to be conducted through the Network would require approval by the ISPCTN Steering Committee in conjunction with the NIH Program Official. This availability would be limited to NIH-funded studies that have undergone NIH peer review to assure scientific quality. Although trials addressing any disease or condition relevant to the pediatric population will be considered, priority will be given to proposed pediatric trials on one of the four focus areas of the Environmental influences on Child Health Outcomes (ECHO) Program: (1) upper and lower airway conditions; (2) obesity; (3) pre-, peri-, and postnatal outcomes; and (4) neurodevelopment.
