Purpose

On August 13, 2014, the Office of Disease Prevention issued two Funding Opportunity Announcements (FOAs) PAR-14-315 "Testing Interventions for Health-Enhancing Physical Activity (R01)” and PAR-14-321 “Developing Interventions for Health-Enhancing Physical Activity (R21/R33)”

To assist prospective applicants with the above-referenced FOAs, this Notice provides an FAQ page for prospective applicants.

As a result of discussions with various applicants regarding permissible research plans under these FOAs, NIH developed a list of Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs) to address these inquiries. The FAQs for these FOAs is posted at: https://prevention.nih.gov/docs/programs/faq/par-14-315-321-faq.pdf. This information may be updated without additional notice. In addition to the FAQs, NIH staff will also respond to questions submitted by prospective applicants who contact the Scientific/Research, Financial/Grants Management, and Peer Review staff listed in the FOA under the Agency Contacts section.
