Purpose

The purpose of this Notice is to notify potential offerers that DHHS has issued an amendment to DHHS SBIR Contract Solicitation PHS 2013-1.  PHS-2013-1 was issued on August 15, 2012 by Notice NOT-OD-12-137.  The amendment is posted in FedBizOpps.gov at https://www.fbo.gov/index?s=opportunity&mode=form&tab=core&id=e39492c496122472349a3ae3bcc0a6b4&_cview=0 and at http://sbir.nih.gov.    

The purpose of the amendment is to:

(1) Extend the Proposal Receipt date to December 3, 2012
(2) Withdraw the request for the submission of proposals under Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) Topic #017, "Smartphone Application for Global Birth Defects Surveillance"
(3) Amend SECTION 10.1 NATIONAL INSTITUTES OF HEALTH (NIH), to reflect a change in Contracting Officer at NCI, as follows:
