Notice of Correction in Review Criteria for PA-10-071: NIH Support for Conferences and Scientific Meetings (Parent R13/U13)

The purpose of this Notice is to clarify the Application Review Information for PA-10-071: NIH Support for Conferences and Scientific Meetings (Parent R13/U13). Resource Sharing Plans are not applicable to R13/U13 grant applications and will not be evaluated as an Additional Review Consideration during the peer review process. This Notice does not reflect a change in NIH policy or constitute a change in peer review procedures, but clarifies the Application Review Information.
In Section V. Application Review Information, subsection 2. Review and Selection Process, under the Additional Review Considerations, the following language should be deleted:
Resource Sharing Plans. Reviewers will comment on whether the following Resource Sharing Plans, or the rationale for not sharing the following types of resources, are reasonable: 1) Data Sharing Plan (https://grants.nih.gov/grants/policy/data_sharing/data_sharing_guidance.htm); 2) Sharing Model Organisms (https://grants.nih.gov/grants/guide/notice-files/NOT-OD-04-042.html); and 3) Genome Wide Association Studies (GWAS) (https://grants.nih.gov/grants/guide/notice-files/NOT-OD-07-088.html).
This language should be replaced with:
Resource Sharing Plans. Not applicable to this FOA.
All other aspects of PA-10-071 remain unchanged.
