Registration Now Open for Upcoming NIH Grants Seminars in Scottsdale, AZ and Ft. Lauderdale, FL

Make plans to attend one of the 2011 NIH Regional Seminars on Program Funding and Grants Administration for an unparalleled opportunity to gain a better perspective of NIH policies and programs, network with your peers, gather helpful NIH contacts, and return to your office and/or lab with inside information, resources, and tools to assist in obtaining and managing NIH awards. If you have you been looking for an event that provides information on topics such as the NIH peer review process, grant writing for success, pre-award and post-award issues for administrators and investigators, compliance, how to interact electronically with NIH, or how to map your career with NIH then this seminar is for you. In addition, each seminar offers two days to meet and discuss grants issues with approximately 35 HHS and NIH officials, as well as networking opportunities with others in your field.
Optional NIH Electronic Research Administration (eRA) computer workshops are also offered. These workshops are designed for Principal Investigators and administrators, providing attendees with hands-on experience utilizing the eRA Commons.
The NIH Regional Seminars are designed for those new to the grants process, including sponsored project officers and departmental administrators, investigators, faculty, graduate students, etc. Some attendees use it as an opportunity to get updates on grants policies and procedures. Each seminar is expected to draw approximately 600 attendees which will provide extended opportunities for sharing and learning from peers as well as NIH experts. Due to the popularity of these seminars, early registration is highly recommended. Space is limited.
