Purpose

The NIH has re-issued the Ruth L. Kirschstein National Research Service Award (NRSA) Institutional Research Training Grants (Parent T32) (PA-11-184) and Short-Term Institutional Research Training Grants (Parent T35) (PA-11-185).

The re-issued Funding Opportunity Announcements do not change the overall objectives of these programs, nor do they modify current NRSA policies, rules and regulations (see NIH Grants Policy Statement).  Applicants should follow instructions in Section 8: Supplemental Instructions to the SF424 (R&R) Application Guide for preparing an institutional Kirschstein-NRSA training application.

AIDS and AIDS-related applications intended for the May 7, 2011 due date should continue to use the current T32 (PA-10-036) and T35 (PA-10-037) FOAs.  Applications intended for May 25, 2011 and subsequent due dates must use the re-issued FOAs.
