NIH is currently seeking public comment on a proposed change to the definition of human embryonic stem cells in the NIH Guidelines for Human Stem Cell Research [http://hescregapp.od.nih.gov/comments/FR_Notice_2-23-2010.pdf]. While NIH is considering public comment on the proposed change, the following human embryonic stem cell lines (hESCs) are currently on hold and should not be used in NIH-funded research:
