This notice announces the expiration of several Research Career Development Award (K award) funding opportunity announcements (FOAs) listed below.  NIH recently announced the transition to electronic submission of all Research Career Development Award Awards (K awards) with the exception of Institutional K12s (NOT-OD-09-029).  As a result, all individual K award FOAs requiring paper applications (PHS 398) with expiration dates past the February 12, 2009 application receipt date are being discontinued.  All applicants must now use the most recent K award FOAs in submitting electronic applications to the NIH.  See the K Kiosk: http://grants1.nih.gov/training/careerdevelopmentawards.htm
