The NIH Office of Laboratory Animal Welfare (OLAW) will join the University of Texas Medical Branch at Galveston and the Texas Branch AALAS (American Association for Laboratory Animal Science) in presenting an IACUC 101 Workshop on April 15, 2008 in Galveston, Texas.

IACUC 101

IACUC 101 is a full day didactic and interactive training program designed to provide Institutional Animal Care and Use Committee (IACUC) members, administrators, veterinarians, animal care staff, researchers, regulatory personnel and compliance officers with information on the role and responsibilities of IACUCs, including an understanding of federal policies and regulations governing laboratory animal welfare.

Workshop venue

The IACUC 101 Workshop will be held at the San Luis Resort and Conference Center, Galveston, TX.
