Extension of the Midcareer Investigator Award in Patient-Oriented Research (K24) (PA-04-107)

Notice Number: NOT-OD-08-034

Key Dates
Release Date: January 15, 2008

Issued by
National Institutes of Health (NIH) (http://www.nih.gov/)

The date of conversion of the K mechanisms to the Grants.gov/NIH electronic submission process has been delayed (see NOT-OD-07-038).  The funding opportunity announcement (FOA), PA-04-107, Midcareer Investigator Award in Patient-Oriented Research (K24), had been scheduled to be re-issued in conjunction with the previously set conversion date of the K mechanisms.  As a result of the delay of that conversion, the expiration date of this FOA is being extended to September 8, 2008.  Participating NIH Institutes and Centers will continue to accept paper applications in response to this FOA (see: Standard Postmark/Submission Dates for Competing Applications).  NIH will issue an updated K24 FOA shortly.

Inquiries

For information about the FOA, prospective applicants should contact the Program Official of the relevant Institute or Center identified at the end of the FOA, PA-04-107 (see “Inquiries and NIH Staff Contacts”).
