Purpose
The purpose of this notice is to inform potential applicants of a change in the key dates for notice of funding opportunity (NOFO) RFA-NS-25-017, BRAIN Initiative: Optimization of Instrumentation and Device Technologies for Recording and Modulation in the Nervous System (U01 Clinical Trials Not Allowed) and RFA-NS-25-018, BRAIN Initiative: New Technologies and Novel Approaches for Recording and Modulation in the Nervous System (R01 Clinical Trial Not Allowed). Specifically, an additional receipt date of June 15, 2026 has been added to these NOFOs for new applications. Accordingly, these NOFOs now expire on June 16, 2026.
The following section of RFA-NS-25-017 and RFA-NS-25-018 has been modified.
