The National Institute of Neurological Disorders and Stroke (NINDS) will be hosting pre-application, technical assistance webinars on?Tuesday, December 12,?2023 from?1PM 2PM (Eastern Time)?and on?Tuesday, January 9, 2024?from?1PM - 2PM (Eastern Time)?for all potential applicants interested in the following notice of funding opportunity (NOFO):
This NOFO aims to encourage grant applications for the conduct of scientific research utilizing data from expanded access (EA) for investigational drugs or biological products. These applications will target?EA for intermediate size populations of patients?living with amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS) who are not eligible for ongoing clinical trials for the prevention, diagnosis, mitigation, treatment, or cure of ALS.?
NIH program and review staff will provide an overview of the RFA, including objectives, application instructions and review criteria and will be available to answer questions. Potential applicants who wish to join in the webinar must pre-register for the webinar using the link(s) below.
We request that participants carefully review the funding opportunity for this initiative prior to joining the webinar. Participation in the webinar is optional and is not required for the submission of an application.
