Purpose

The purpose of this notice is to inform applicants of a change to the Application Budgets for PAR-18-657 "Countermeasures Against Chemical Threats (CounterACT) Research Centers of Excellence (U54 Clinical Trial Optional)". This notice updates, supercedes and replaces the previous notice, NOT-NS-18-072 "Notice of New Budget Limitation for PAR-18-657 Countermeasures Against Chemical Threats (CounterACT) Research Centers of Excellence (U54 Clinical Trial Optional)". Specifically, the application budgets will be reduced from $2 million in direct costs per yearto $1.75 million in direct costs per year. This notice will be effective for the October 8, 2020 receipt date. Change is shown below in bold italics.
