The purpose of this notice is to inform interested applicants of a change to the eligible activity codes for NOT-NS-20-051 "Notice of Special Interest (NOSI): Availability of Urgent Competitive Revisions and Administrative Supplements For Research on Biological Effects of the 2019 Novel Coronavirus on the Nervous System". Effective immediately,the RF1 activity codewill be added as an eligible activity codeto NOT-NS-20-051, for applications submitted to both, PA-18-591 "Administrative Supplements to Existing NIH Grants and Cooperative Agreements (Parent Admin Supp Clinical Trial Optional) " and PA-18-935 "Urgent Competitive Revision to Existing NIH Grants and Cooperative Agreements (Urgent Supplement - Clinical Trial Optional)". See changes below in bold italics.

Applications for this initiative must be submitted using one of the following opportunity announcements or the subsequent reissued equivalent.
Applications for research that fall within the scope of an existing NINDS award should be submitted through PA-18-591 (Parent Admin Supp Clinical Trial Optional). Eligible activity codes are limited to the mechanisms listed in PA-18-591.
Applications for research that involve a change in the original scope of an active award, but still falls within the mission of the NINDS must apply through PA-18-935 Urgent Competitive Revision to Existing NIH Grants and Cooperative Agreements (Urgent Supplement - Clinical Trial Optional). Eligible activity codes for applications to PA-18-935 are limited to the following mechanisms: P01, P50, R00, R01, R03, R15, R21, R33, R35, R41, R42, R43, R44, R61, U01, U19, U24, U44, U54, UG3, UH3).
