Purpose

This Notice is to inform potential applicants that the NINDS announces its participation, effective immediately, in RFA-AG-13-011, Paul B. Beeson Clinical Scientist Development Award in Aging (K08).

RFA-AG-13-011 is changed in the following ways.

Part 1. Overview Information - Components of Participating Organizations

The Components of Participating Organizations section of RFA-AG-13-011 has been revised to include NINDS:

National Institute on Aging (NIA)
National Institute of Neurological Disorders and Stroke (NINDS)

Part 1. Overview Information - Catalog of Federal Domestic Assistance (CFDA) Number

The Catalog of Federal Domestic Assistance (CFDA) Number section has been revised to include the NINDS CFDA number: 93.853.

Section II. Award Information - Funds Available and Anticipated Number of Awards

NINDS intends to commit up to $400,000 to support a total of up to two Beeson Career Development Awards in Aging for applications submitted in response to RFA-AG-13-011, and/or a companion application for K23 applications, RFA-AG-13-012, contingent upon NIH appropriations and the receipt of a sufficient number of meritorious applications for research projects that fall within the NINDS mission.
