Purpose

The purpose of this notice is to inform the extramural research community that the NINDS will host a technical assistance webinar for applicants responding to the RFA-NS-13-004 Specialized Neuroscience Research Program (SNRP) (U54).  The webinar will occur on August 13, 2012 from 10:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. EDT.

The Webinar will review the purpose and objectives of the FOA, budget preparation and peer review. Time will be allotted for questions and answers at the end. All prospective applicants are invited to participate.

You will need a telephone for the audio portion of this webinar.  If you plan to access the virtual meeting by web, you should test your computer to ensure that your configuration will support your participation in this Adobe Connect meeting at: http://webmeeting.nih.gov/common/help/en/support/meeting_test.htm.  You must pass the first three tests. Test 4, the Adobe Connect Add-In Test, is not required to participate in this meeting.

Approximately 1-2 weeks after the technical assistance meeting, the slides from the presentations and answers to the Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs) regarding the preparation of applications in response to RFA-NS-13-004 will be posted on the Office of Special Programs in Diversity website.
