New Information for NINDS Investigators Preparing Diversity (PA-05-015) or Reentry (PA-04-126) Supplement Applications

This Notice is to inform the scientific community that the NINDS is amending its participation in Program Announcements PA-05-015, entitled “Research Supplements to Promote Diversity in Health-Related Research,” and PA-04-126, “ Supplements to Promote Re-entry into Biomedical and Behavioral Research Careers,” as follows:

NINDS announces three review cycles per fiscal year for the above-mentioned supplement applications starting in Fiscal Year 2008.  Funding decisions for supplement applications will only be made three times a year, namely by the end of March, June, and December.  Thus, the first cycle for Fiscal Year 2008 is November 16, 2007 to February 15, 2008, for which NINDS will make funding decisions in March 2008.  Applications received after the cycle cut-off date will be processed and considered for funding in the next funding cycle, such that receipt after February 15th would mean review in June.
