RFA-NR-22-002 - Advancing Integrated Models (AIM) of Care to Improve Maternal Health Outcomes among Women Who Experience Persistent Disparities (R01 Clinical Trial Required)

The purpose of this Notice is to inform the applicant community of an expansion in the severe maternal morbidity primary outcomes of interest for RFA-NR-22-002. Documented state-level severe maternal morbidity indicators and other conditions that increase the risk of severe maternal morbidity and mortality in the antepartum, intrapartum, and postpartum periods (e.g., hypertensive disorders of pregnancy, hemorrhage) are of interest as primary outcomes in addition to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention indicators as outlined in the funding opportunity. Composite outcomes that combine two or more indicators and/or conditions are also of interest.
