Purpose

The National Institute of Mental Health (NIMH) will host a pre-application and technical assistance webinar on January 31, 2023, from 2 pm-3 pm Eastern Time (ET), to provide information and respond to questions from prospective applicants who plan to submit applications in response to the Bidirectional Influences Between Adolescent Social Media Use and Mental Health funding announcements:

  • RFA-MH-23-115 - Bidirectional Influences Between Adolescent Social Media Use and Mental Health (R01 Clinical Trial Optional)
  • RFA-MH-23-116 - Bidirectional Influences Between Adolescent Social Media Use and Mental Health (R21 Clinical Trial Optional)

NIMH staff members involved in managing RFA-MH-23-115 and RFA-MH-23-116 will provide an overview of the RFA, including objectives, application instructions, and review criteria, and will be available to answer questions.

Participation in this webinar, although encouraged, is optional and is not required for the submission of an application in response to RFA-MH-23-115 and RFA-MH-23-116.

The registration site for the NIMH Social Media RFAs pre-application and technical assistance webinar is now open and can be found here. The webinar registration deadline is January 30, 2023.

The webinar will be hosted through ZoomGov Meeting. After registering, a Zoom link for the webinar will be emailed to you.
