Purpose

The purpose of this Notice is to inform potential applicants that National Institute of Mental Health (NIMH) will participate, effective immediately, in PAR-18-596, " Research on Current Topics in Alzheimer's Disease and Its Related Dementias (R01 Clinical Trial Optional).

This notice also adds NIMH participation to the topic area, Section I. Funding Opportunity Description: Research Objectives high priority topics of interest, “9 Data Driven Approaches to Understand the Molecular Mechanisms of Neuropsychiatric Symptoms in Alzheimer’s Disease and Related Dementias”.

The following changes and updates are made to PAR-18-596 (shown in italics) to reflect NIMH participation in this FOA.
