Purpose

Because the first phase of the project is not feasible within the constraints of the R21 mechanism, NIMH is expiring RFA-MH-16-405, "Exploratory Clinical Trials of Novel Interventions for Mental Disorders (R21/R33)" effective immediately. No applications will be accepted under this FOA.

NIMH intends to publish a new FOA to solicit applications in this area of science in the coming weeks.
