Correction to NOT-MH-10-024 - NIMH Announces Availability of Funds for Competitive Revision Applications for a Repository Supporting Stem Cell Research Relevant to Mental Disorders (U24)

Purpose

The purpose of this notice is to correct errors in NOT-MH-10-024 and to notify potential applicants of a change in the Application Due Date.

The Application Due Date is changed from September 25, to September 24, 2010.

The original section on How to Apply stated the following:

“The receipt date for revision applications is September 25, 2010.

Applicants interested in applying for revision support must submit the application through Grants.gov, using the Funding Opportunity Announcement (FOA) that was used for the parent grant. Or, if this FOA is no longer active, use the Parent FOA that matches the program (activity code) of the award.

  • The activity code of the prior submission (referenced by the Federal Identifier on the SF 424 RR Cover page) must match the activity code of the FOA used for the revision. This Notice should be mentioned in the cover letter.

For ALL applications:

Follow the instructions as noted below. Note: Font size restrictions apply as designated within the applicable SF424 (R&R) Application or the PHS398 application instructions. The current NIH guideline on page limitations should be followed.”

it should be replaced with the following:

“The receipt date for revision applications is September 24, 2010.

Applicants interested in applying for revision support are required to prepare applications according to the current PHS 398 application forms in accordance with the PHS398 Application Guide.  (Further details are found below.) 

  • This Notice should be mentioned in the cover letter.

Submit a signed, typewritten original of the application, including the checklist, and three signed photocopies in one package to:

All other aspects of the Notice remain the same. 

PLEASE NOTE:  As stated in paragraph 1 of the “Scope and Objectives” section of NOT-MH-10-024, This initiative will not support the resourcing of biological materials from germline or prenatal sources such as human ESCs or somatic cell nuclear transfer (SCNT).
