Notice Number: NOT-MH-09-015
Key Dates
Release Date: August 28, 2009
Issued by
National Institute of Mental Health (NIMH), (http://www.nimh.nih.gov/)
Purpose
This Notice reports on the status of and extends the expiration date for the Interventions and Practice Research Infrastructure Program (IP-RISP) PAR-06-441. The PAR end date is extended to January 8, 2011 (this date will accommodate any AIDS-related submissions on January 7, 2011). NIMH does not expect to reissue this PAR after this extension period. Instead, NIMH staff is considering other options. With the brief 1-year period of this extension, PIs submitting applications for the first time in this extension period may not have sufficient time for a resubmission, if it is necessary. If an original application was submitted prior to January 25, 2009, applicants will be able to submit A1 and A2 applications. If an original application was submitted on or after January 25, 2009, applicants will have a single resubmission opportunity.
The IP-RISP uses the NIH Resource-Related Research Project (R24) award mechanism. The non-AIDS receipt dates for the R24 are: January 25, May 25, and September 25, and for AIDS-related R24s is January 7, May 7 and September 7.
All other aspects of the FOA remain unchanged.
