The purpose of this notice is to extend the expiration date for the PAR-07-157 - Mechanism for Time-Sensitive Research Opportunities (R01).

This Funding Opportunity Announcement (FOA) will be extended until June 10, 2009, to coincide with the expiration dates of the R03 (PAR-06-249) and R34 (PAR-06-250) mechanisms for time-sensitive research opportunities.

After the June 10, 2009, all applicants must apply in response to the updated FOA, if it is issued.
