The Center for Mental Health Research on AIDS at the NIMH wishes to announce a limited exemption for personnel costs for AIDS-related appliction in response to PAR-06-494 - NIMH Research Education Grants (R25).
The purpose of this notice is to inform the AIDS research community that competing continuation/renewal grant applications submitted in response to PAR-06-494 may exceed the limit of 25% of total direct costs to support personnel costs in any year of the project period (including administrative and clerical costs) associated with directing, coordinating, administering and implementing the program. AIDS applications must conform to the overall cost limits of the R25 program, that is, the total project period for an appliction submitted in response to this funding opportunity may not exceed five years. Direct costs are limited to $250,000 annually. This policy is effective for applications submitted on or before January 2, 2007 only.
