The purpose of this notice is to notify the research community that, exceptions 
may be granted to the budget limit of R21 applications to RFA-MH-05-002, if 
specific costly reagents or animals are needed to perform the proposed studies.
A compelling justification must be provided and applicants should contact 
program staff listed below before submitting an application with such a budget.
The additional funds requested is not to exceed $50,000/year.
