TECHNICAL ASSISTANCE WORKSHOPS FOR POTENTIAL APPLICANTS TO NCMHD PROJECT EXPORT 
CENTERS OF EXCELLENCE PROGRAM

The National Center on Minority Health and Health Disparities (NCMHD) 
will convene a series of technical assistance workshops for 
institutions planning to submit applications in response to RFA-MD-02-
001 (http://www.ncmhd.nih.gov).  The purpose of these workshops is to 
provide prospective applicants with an opportunity to receive answers 
to their questions about the intent and requirements of the RFA.  NCMHD 
staff will be available to discuss all aspects of the proposed new 
program, including:  the resource-related research project mechanism, 
development of the application, the review process, grants management 
and other appropriate questions.  Two other announcements inviting 
applications for Project EXPORT using the (P20) Exploratory Planning 
Grant and (P60) center grants award mechanisms will soon be available 
for discussion at the workshops.  Please see NCMHD"s website 
(http://www.ncmhd.nih.gov) for details.

Information and Frequently Asked Questions from the workshops will be 
available on this website for individuals that are unable to attend.

These meetings are open to the public.  Onsite registration is 
available. However, we encourage advance registration to attend the 
workshops, via NCMHD"s website (listed above), in advance of 
their occurrence.
