Effective November 30, 2005, the National Library of Medicine announces the suspension of the following individual and senior fellowship programs:

PAR-03-070 Individual Biomedical Informatics Fellowships
PAR-03-109 Senior Individual Biomedical Informatics Fellowships
PAR-04-014 Senior Fellowship for Informationist Training

No new or amended applications will be accepted at the December 2005 deadline or future deadlines. FY 2006 funds are not available for this program. Applications already in process will be considered for funding in the next fiscal year.

Applicants interested in research training for biomedical informatics or bioinformatics should contact one of the university-based informatics training programs funded by NLM, listed at http://www.nlm.nih.gov/ep/GrantTrainInstitute.html.

Applicants interested in Informationist training can still apply through PAR-04-013 Individual Fellowship for Informationist Training.
