Purpose

The Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality's (AHRQ) mission is to produce evidence to make health care safer, higher quality, more accessible, equitable, and affordable. AHRQ works within the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services and with other partners to assure that the evidence is understood and used.

AHRQ intends to publish a Request for Applications (RFA) to request investigator-initiated projects to disseminate patient-centered outcomes research (PCOR) findings directly to primary care practices and support practices in implementing PCOR clinical and organizational findings. AHRQ is interested in projects to improve the delivery of patient-centered approaches to identifying and managing unhealthy alcohol use among adults, including screening and brief intervention (SBI) and medication assisted therapy (MAT).

This Notice encourages investigators with appropriate expertise and insights to begin to consider applying for this RFA.
