Purpose
This Notice announces that AHRQ will implement the Federal Awardee Performance and Integrity Information System (FAPIIS) requirements for AHRQ grants and cooperative agreements in accordance with the specific guidance provided by the Office of Management and Budget (OMB) and the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS).
Background
In accordance with the statutory provisions contained in Section 872 of the Duncan Hunter National Defense Authorization Act, AHRQ will implement FAPIIS requirements as provided in the OMB's final guidance published on July 22, 2015 in the Federal Register Notice, Volume 80, No. 140, at https://Federalregister.gov/a/2015-17753, and in accordance with the forthcoming HHS final regulation at 45 CFR Part 75 that will incorporate FAPIIS requirements.
Additional information will be provided to AHRQ grant recipients as requirements and policy are developed.
