The National Heart, Lung, and Blood Institute (NHLBI) issued Funding Opportunity Announcements (FOAs) on July 06, 2022 for RFA-HL-23-015 "New Epidemiological Cohort Study among Asian Americans, Native Hawaiians, and Pacific Islanders (AsA-NHPI): Clinical/Community Field Centers (UG3/UH3 - Clinical Trial Not Allowed)" and
RFA-HL-23-016 "New Epidemiological Cohort Study among Asian Americans, Native Hawaiians, and Pacific Islanders (AsA-NHPI): Coordinating Center (U24 - Clinical Trial Not Allowed)".
This Notice provides information regarding an upcoming Pre-Application webinar to inform potential applicants about RFA-HL-23-015 and RFA-HL-23-016. This will include a review of the purpose and objectives of the FOAs, application and peer review requirements, and budget considerations.

All prospective applicants are invited to attend the webinar and are strongly encouraged to send relevant questions prior to the webinar by Wednesday, August 3rd, 2022 at 5pm EST to maximize the use of time. Questions should be sent by email to AsANHPICohorts@nhlbi.nih.gov using the subject line: "Webinar question". These questions will be prioritized during the Q&A portion of the webinar. While an effort will be made to include all questions in the webinar, it is possible that not all questions will be addressed during the event due to time constraints.
Participation in this webinar, although encouraged, is optional and is not required for FOA submission. A recording of the webinar will be posted online.
