National Heart, Lung, and Blood Institute (NHLBI)
The National Heart, Lung, and Blood Institute (NHLBI) announced the requirements for the Hope for Sickle Cell Disease Challenge to help increase awareness about sickle cell disease and its associated complications on September 1, 2020.
A pre-submission technical assistance webinar is being offered to inform potential applicants about the NHLBI Hope for Sickle Cell Disease Challenge competition and will include a review of the purpose, rules, registration process, judging criteria, and prizes. The webinar will be held on Wednesday, February 3, 2021, at 1:00 p.m. Eastern Standard Time (EST). All interested individuals must register in advance to participate in the webinar via Zoom.
All prospective applicants are invited to attend the webinar and are strongly encouraged to send relevant questions prior to the webinar to maximize the use of time. Questions should be sent by email to [email protected] by February 1, 2021. We will prioritize these questions during the Q&A portion of the webinar. While an effort will be made to include all questions in the webinar, it is possible that not all questions will be addressed during the event due to time constraints.
Please note that attending this webinar is not a requirement for submission eligibility.
