Purpose

On December 10, 2015, the NHLBI issued Funding Opportunity Announcement RFA-HL-16-025 "NHLBI Emerging Investigator Award (EIA) (R35)". The purpose of this Notice is to revise one sentence of the Award Information as follows:

Funds Available and Anticipated Number of Awards

Current Language:
The NHLBI intends to commit total costs up to $10 million per year in FY2017 through FY2025.

Revised Language:
The NHLBI intends to commit up to $10 million in total costs for new awards in Fiscal Years 2017, 2018, and 2019.

All other aspects of the FOA remain unchanged.
