Purpose

On December 10, 2015, the NHLBI issued Funding Opportunity Announcement RFA-HL-16-024 "NHLBI Outstanding Investigator Award (OIA) (R35)". The purpose of this Notice is to revise one sentence of the Award Information as follows:

Current Language:
The NHLBI intends to commit up to $20 million per year in FY2017 through FY2025.

Revised Language:
The NHLBI intends to commit up to $20 million in total costs for new awards in Fiscal Years 2017, 2018, and 2019.

All other aspects of the FOA remain unchanged.
