Purpose

The NHLBI will continue to participate in PAR-13-137 "Bioengineering Research Grants (BRG) (R01)" on a limited basis. NHLBI will accept applications for only the following standard receipt dates:

• October 5, 2013
• February 5, 2014
• June 5, 2014
• October 5, 2014

NHLBI will accept applications for only the following standard AIDS dates:

• January 7, 2014 (AIDS)
• May 7, 2014 (AIDS)
• September 7, 2014 (AIDS)
• January 7, 2015 (AIDS)

Until further notice, the NHLBI will limit the maximum direct costs in any year to less than $500,000.
