Purpose
On May 17, 2012, the NHLBI issued a Funding Opportunity Announcement (FOA): RFA-HL-13-008: The NIH Centers for Accelerated Innovations (U54). This Notice announces the following changes in the Award Information and in the Application Due Date for RFA-HL-13-008:
Current Language:
The NHLBI intends to commit up to $2 million total costs to fund at least one award for fiscal year 2013. For a Center, the NHLBI intends to commit up to $4 million total costs per year for years 2 6 and up to $2 million total costs for year 7.
Modified Language:
The NHLBI intends to commit up to $2 million total costs to fund one to three awards for fiscal year 2013. The NHLBI intends to commit up to $4 million total costs per year for years 2 6 and up to $2 million total costs for year 7.
Please make the appropriate adjustments to your budget while continuing to maximize the number of technologies moving through the Center.
Application Due Date: To allow applicants adequate opportunity to make these changes, the application receipt date for this FOA has been changed from September 19, 2012 to October 19, 2012.
