Purpose
On October 27, 2010, the NHLBI issued a Funding Opportunity Announcements (FOA): RFA-HL-12-010 Lung Repair and Regeneration Administrative Coordinating Center (U01).
The following corrections to this FOA are being made:

The total amount of funding that NHLBI intends to commit for the Lung Repair and Regeneration Consortium (1 Coordinating Center in response to for this FOA and up to 6 Research Centers in response to RFA-HL-12-006) is $26.3 M total costs for a project period of 5 years. Designated funding levels are subject to change at any time prior to award, due to unforeseen budgetary, administrative, or scientific developments. |
Award Budget |
Requested Direct Costs for the Coordinating Center may not exceed $600,000 in the first year (FY2012) and $900,000 in years 2-5 (FY2013-FY2016). Approximately 50% of the Direct Costs should be for administrative coordinating functions and 50% for subcontracts with research centers for collaborative activities in the first year. |
