Purpose

Purpose

This Notice is to inform potential applicants to RFA-HG-20-048 and RFA-HG-20-049 that there will be a pre-application webinar to provide an overview of the funding opportunity announcements, provide technical assistance, and answer questions from potential applicants pertinent to preparing applications. Questions about the scope of the RFAs will be addressed during the webinar; however, questions about investigators' specific study aims will not be addressed in the webinar. Please contact the Scientific/Research contact listed in RFA-HG-20-048 and RFA-HG-20-049 for questions regarding specific study aims. The webinar is optional (attendance is not required for application submission), and the webinar may conclude before the scheduled time depending on the number of questions.

There are also responses to Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs) posted on the NHGRI website. The FAQs are available on the NHGRI website at the following link: https://www.genome.gov/research-funding/Funding-Opportunities/research/FAQ-investigator-initiated-research-on-genetic-counseling-processes-and-practices-FOAs. Applicants are strongly encouraged to review the FAQs, which may be updated at any time without additional notice, prior to submitting their application.
