PURPOSE OF THIS NOTICE:  

On October 20, 2003, the supporting institutes received applications in 
response to this Request for Applications (HG-03-006 
(http://grants.nih.gov/grants/guide/rfa-files/RFA-HG-03-006.html).  The 
nature of the questions regarding this RFA from prospective applicants 
and the types of applications that were received indicated that the 
language in the RFA needed to be clarified.  Therefore, the sponsoring 
institutes are inactivating this RFA and expect to issue a replacement 
RFA in the future.  Applications will NOT be accepted for the receipt 
dates indicated for this RFA.
